Publisher's Notes
Note from the Publisher:
Where has time gone? It is time once again to
subscribe to the newsletter if you want to continue its receipt. Due to
increases in postage rates, and a better accounting of actual publishing
costs, I need to increase the cost of a subscription to $8 per year. Please
remit by 1 Dec 02 for the calendar year 2003, commencing with the Jan 03
issue. I really hate to announce this increase, but it’s the only way we can
continue. Reminder: The newsletter may be accessed for free on the web site
in addition to other resources published there. Feedback: “I always look
forward to receiving the newsletter and I really appreciate all the time and
effort you and Linda go to. Thank you so much for bringing back good
memories for me. Love Babe” (Margaret Ward).
Sneak Peek:
Next issue we will feature Fred and Clara Cain. We
need your help, so if you are a descendant of Fred and Clara, or if you just
knew their family we’d love to have an article from you. Deadline for hard
copy: 15 Nov 02, E-mail or other electronic media 1 Dec 02. Also if you have
memories of the Cain Family Life at Haynesville, LA Oil Field area we’d love
to have an article about those times. The same deadlines apply.
