Meet Our Younger Generation—Randall Brewster!

Randall Brewster is the second child of Debbie Belcher Brewster and Chester Brewster. He is the grandchild of Mary Lou Manning Belcher and Bill Belcher. He resides at Haughton, LA, with his parents. Randall just turned 21 on October 4, 2001.

Randall received the Holy Ghost as a child, perhaps when he was 8. He renewed his Holy Ghost experience at 18 and after that, he felt led to the ministry. Randall felt that the Lord had a special work for him to do after he had been visiting his grandparents around Thanksgiving a few years ago. He was on his way to Minden to attend Bro. Barnes church (as his home church was not having service that night) when the Lord laid such a heavy burden on him to stop at Bro. McGaHa’s church in Homer. He had a tremendous urge to deliver a message. He prayed that if it were God’s will, that the pastor would ask him to speak, which the pastor did about 5 minutes after he prayed. Bro. McGaHa confirmed that the message Randall delivered was exactly what the Lord wanted said. After this, the Lord has confirmed on different occasions his desire for Randall to preach.

Randall preached a youth rally at Rev. Cecil Daniels’ church in Shreveport, but his real burden is for prison ministry. He and another brother in his home church go 4 times a week to prisons in Bossier and Caddo parishes. About a year after Randall became actively involved in the prison ministry he was joined by his Dad, Chester. Chester teaches and Randall preaches. Randall is totally caught up in this ministry. He loves to help prepare the hearts of the prisoners to receive the Holy Ghost, and then to pray with them until they receive it. God has blessed him to be able to reach the prisoners in a special way that others are not.

The Lord has moved in awesome ways to open many doors for the prison ministry that Randall and Chester are involved in. They have seen tremendous results with over 150 being baptized in Jesus Name and more than that receiving the Holy Ghost, along with devils being cast out. This prison ministry keeps him very busy, but he also works for a real estate company remodeling houses from time to time.

Randall’s plans are to attend Jackson Bible College, Jackson, Mississippi, in January 2002. He wants to be involved in some type of ministry during the 3-year course. He thinks he would like to attend the Urshan Bible College in St. Louis also. His great-grandmother, Ruth Cain Manning, would have been so thrilled to know that her great-great grandson is a minister of the Lord.
